The 640-820 Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is the composite exam associated with the Cisco Certified network Associate certification. Candidates can prepare for this exam by taking the interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) v1.0 and the interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2) v1.0 Courses.
This Exam tests a candidate's knowledge and skills required to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small to medium size enterprise branch network. The topics include connecting to a WAN; implementing network security; network types; network media; routing and switching fundamentals; the TCP/IP and OSI Models; IP addressing; WAN technologies; operating and configuring IOS devices; extending switched networks with VLANs; determining IP routes; managing IP traffic with with accesss lists; establishing point-to-point connections; and establishing Frame Relay Connections.

Summary of Course Structure
- Understanding Cisco IOS (Internetworking Operating System) commands for configuring and managing Cisco networking Devices Understanding Cisco configuration techniques(backing up and restoring configuration files from remote locations)
- Understanding routing protocols (such as RIP & IGRP) and how they function as well as configuration and management of such protocols
- IP addressing, Subnetting, and Assignment Interface and subinterface configuration
- WAN topics such as frame relay,PPP,HDLC,ISDN and DDR
- Connectivity to a WAN switch for Frame relay and ISDN
- VLANs
- LAN segmentation (bridges,switches and routers)
- Spanning tree Protocol(STP)
- Access lists and filtering
- Wireless Connectivity
Notes:
- Each Class and session will have assignment, which needs to be completed before next session
- There will be a project and in-house assignment at the end of course.
- Each student will be provided login on server and project has to be completed in order to complete the training
